I live in Indiana with my amazing husband and two kids. My first career was in Respiratory Care. I have been a Respiratory Care Practitioner for 17 years. You may have heard of Respiratory Therapy during covid...many people did not know what a Respiratory Therapist was before 2020. As a Respiratory Care Practitioner I have gained many leadership and organizational skills. We have to be very detail oriented, creative, self-sufficient and able to multi-task. However, along with covid came continuing changes in healthcare and I quickly realized that I needed to shift my career to something where my family came first and I could still help others.
I decided to enroll in a course specifically for Virtual Service Professionals and fell in love with the combination of creativity, professionalism and service. This allows me to have the best of both worlds; Family first AND a profession in service to others.
