I live in Indiana with my amazing husband and two kids. My first career was in Respiratory Care. I have been a Respiratory Care Practitioner for 20 years. You may have heard of Respiratory Therapy during covid...many people did not know what a Respiratory Therapist was before 2020. As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, I have gained many leadership and organizational skills. We have to be very detail-oriented, creative, self-sufficient, and able to multitask. However, along with COVID came changes in healthcare, and I quickly realized that I needed to shift my career to something where my family came first, and I could still help others.
I decided to enroll in a course specifically for Virtual Service Professionals and fell in love with the combination of creativity, professionalism, and service. This allows me to have the best of both worlds: family first AND a profession serving others.
